Andrew grew up in London, qualifying as a dentist from University of Wales College of Medicine in 2000. Following a year working in a Specialist Restorative Practice in Cardiff, he undertook his basic training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
He continued postgraduate education both in the UK and USA, completing a postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice at the Eastman Dental Institute in London and holds a Master’s degree in dental Implantology from the University of Sheffield. He was invited to be a fellow of the Academy of Dentofacial Aesthetics in New York in 2012, and an Associate Fellow of The College of General Dentistry in the UK.
Andrew is a university accredited expert witness having completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) Expert Witness Certificate in 2021, at Cardiff Law School.
Andrew has a keen interest and accepts referrals in Restorative, Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Andrew has a busy family life and enjoys cooking and travelling.
Kiran achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honours, and thereafter was awarded Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties by the Royal College of Surgeons. He then completed his Master’s in Restorative Dental Practice with Distinction at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL. Here, his research was presented internationally at the ADEE in Strasbourg. He has since begun his second Master’s at the University of Bristol in Dental Implantology.
His keen interest lies in microscope-enhanced biomimetic dentistry, involving conservative techniques with minimally-invasive intervention. He also carries out comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitations, especially in cases of extensive tooth wear.
Param brings a passion for dentistry and a commitment to patient care at Kendrick View and became a partner in 2019. He graduated with his undergraduate degree from King’s College London in 2015 and further honed his skills in restorative dentistry by completing a Diploma at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (UCL) in 2022.
Param has a keen interest in all aspects of restorative dentistry and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the field. He regularly attends courses to continuously improve his skillset and provide the best possible care to his patients.
He believes in a collaborative approach to patient care, involving patients in their treatment decisions and educating them about their oral health. This empowers patients to understand their dental needs and make informed choices while creating a relaxed and friendly environment.
Outside of dentistry, Param enjoys staying active on the hockey field and loves spending time with his wife and baby boy.

Ritu, a former partner, qualified in 1985 from Birmingham University and joined the practice in 1986. She has a long standing, very loyal patient base.
Patients describe her as not only gentle and caring, but artistic too. She has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of general dentistry and can therefore give an unbiased opinion on necessary treatment.
Being a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Society of Occlusal Studies, Ritu is forward thinking and keeps abreast of latest techniques such as laser technology.
Ritu is the heart of her family, being married to a Medical General Practitioner and has three sons. Family and moral values are very important to her. Ritu enjoys entertaining, cooking, gardening, and travelling. She tries to keep fit by exercising, favouring Pilates.

Having qualified at the University of Sheffield in 1985, Nicola has been an associate dentist at Kendrick View since 1987. She has a wealth of experience in all aspects of general practice, frequently attending courses and seminars to keep up to date with new techniques. She is also a member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies.
Beyond her work at the practice, she is a keen tennis player and loves spending time with her family and friends.
My mantra is to “ promote good health in a relaxed and caring environment.”
Mehdi grew up in London and is loyal to it! A St Paul’s school alumnus, he went on to gain his undergraduate degree at Guy’s hospital (UMDS) in 1990.
After qualifying he worked in hospital as a Senior House Officer in Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where he performed routine surgical procedures and assisted in major oncological surgery including free flaps and hip grafts.
He has always had particular interest in cosmetic, aesthetic and all forms of restorative dentistry and pursued this as a postgraduate -he completed the Master’s in Conservative Dentistry (crown and bridgework) at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute in 1997.
He then spent part of his working week teaching undergraduate students at Guy’s Hospital as a Clinical Demonstrator.
Mehdi has spent the last 20 years working in the mostprestigious private practices in Knightsbridge and South Kensington, London as well as a holding the post of Senior Dental Surgeon for Marks and Spencer, Glaxo and Shell International.
His smile is infectious, his treatment thorough; patients’ feedback that this, together with his calm and gentle chair-side manner, ensures they feel relaxed, fully informed and in the best of hands. Although he enjoys cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, he shares our ethos and philosophy in his approach to patient care, and we are proud that he is a member of the skilled team at Kendrick View.
Outside of dentistry he is a bit of a petrol head!
Kiran is a local dentist who has lived in Reading for most of her life. After graduating from the University of Birmingham in 2013 she worked for 2 years in general practice before embarking on a year stint in Australia.
She returned to the UK in 2016 and embarked on a part-time masters in Restorative Dentistry which she has successfully completed with a merit. Kiran has had her clinical case studies published regionally in dental magazines and is also an international published author. She is a key opinion leader for DMG and is a full member of the BACD. Her areas of interests are composite restorations, tooth wear, Invisalign, whitening and the treatment of white and brown spots on young adults, an area of dentistry she is very passionate about.
Kiran enjoys keeping up to date with the latest dental information and tries to go on a variety of courses ensuring she is at the forefront of the latest technology and material. She is extremely passionate in providing her patients with the best dental experience she possibly can and prides herself on her gentle, caring and patient nature. She is a very conscious dentistry and believes in trying to get the best results by using minimally invasive dentistry.
When not at work Kiran enjoys travelling and trying new experiences. She is a keen photographer and is always up for a challenge. She has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and is a certified scuba diver.
Dipesh has been a renowned implant dentist for over a decade. After completing his Master of Science degree at the prestigious University of Bristol, he was invited to become an Honorary Clinical Lecturer, teaching postgraduate delegates. His commitment to his craft led to the International Team of Implantology awarding him a Fellowship in 2021. He has a reputation for his meticulous attention to detail, and for working well with nervous patients.
Josephine qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2013, where she excelled academically and was awarded the prestigious Gilmour Prize in Restorative Dentistry. She was subsequently awarded a membership of the Joint Faculty of Dental Surgeons with the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
In 2018, she won the British Society of Periodontology poster prize, with her work, ‘What is the heritability of Periodontitis? A systematic review’. The merit of this high-level research was published in the internationally regarded Journal of Dental Research.
Josephine received her Doctorate in Clinical Periodontology from Queen Mary University, London, resulting in her being qualified as a specialist periodontist. Josephine is a member of periodontology with both the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh as well as the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
After qualifying at the University of Pretoria in 1978, Joe served as an officer in the South African Army. He then bought a practice in Bethlehem where he practised for fifteen years, and thereafter moved to Franschhoek in the Cape. He subsequently moved to the UK in 1998.
In 2004, Joe undertook an intensive Endodontics postgraduate course at the Eastman Dental Institute UCL, and now works full-time as an endodontist, having been taught by the eminent Chris Stock. Joe welcomes internal and external referrals for root canal treatment.
Raj qualified in 1988 and joined Kendrick View in 2015. He is a clinical lecturer for Thames Valley Deanery. In his role, he teaches minor oral surgery courses across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for general dentists. He also holds a staff-grade position at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where he has garnered a wealth of oral surgery experience.
Mark, a former partner at Kendrick View, qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1976, and has been at Kendrick View since 1980. He is now working with us as an associate, concentrating on his special interest in occlusion and temporomandibular disorders. He has refined this passion through his extensive involvement with the British Society of Occlusal Studies, with whom he frequently teaches dentists nationwide on how to better care for patients with such issues. This includes treating patients with worn teeth, bite issues and head and neck pain related to their bite.
Fawad graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011. After completing his foundation training in the Oxford deanery, he undertook additional hospital training roles in maxillofacial surgery & restorative dentistry. During this time he was awarded with the Membership of the Faculty of dental Surgery from the royal College of Surgeons of england.
In 2016, Fawad was selected for the Masters in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital, which he completed in 2018.
Since 2018, Fawad has been working in multiple practices where he has limited his clinical work to Endodontics, treating cases on a referral basis.
Fawad is an active member of the British Endodontic Society, European Society of Endontology and the American Association of Endodontists. He is also a published author with publications in the British Dental Journal.
Outside of dentistry, Fawad is a keen cricketer playing for his local club. He is a keen explorer and enjoys mountain hiking in his spare time – always on the lookout for his next challenge!
Komal graduated in 2013 from Kings College London where she gained her Bachelors in Dental Surgery. While at university she carried out charity work travelling to Ghana and Kenya carrying out clinical dentistry and education. Following this, she completed her vocational training at the Oxford deanery and a placement of maxillofacial and oral surgery at University College London hospital trust (Great Ormond Street Hospital and Eastman Dental Hospital).
Komal joined Kendrick View Dental Practice in January 2021 after attaining her Masters with merit in Endodontics (root canal treatment) from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. She splits her time in various practices limiting her practice to Endodontics as well as Community Dental Services treating challenging paediatric and special care patients.
She is a member of the British Endodontic Society and Royal College of Surgeons. When not at work, Komal enjoys photography, art, travelling and spending time with her two young children.
Dr Luis Salvador Marval Mendoza was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1970. He studied at the Central University of Venezuela, obtaining a Bachelors degree in Dentistry in 1995. For the next few years he worked as a teaching assistant at the Orthodontics Department of the Central University of Venezuela and was then accepted onto the Master of Orthodontics program in 1999 at the University. Completion of his studies in 2002 saw him awarded the title of Specialist in Orthodontics in Venezuela. In the following years Luis has worked in both public and private services with different multidisciplinary teams completing many complex cases
After moving to the UK in 2017 he achieved full registration with the GDC in 2020. Since then, Luis has worked in the Maxillofacial services at Russels Hall Hopsital in Dudley, as a locum consultant Orthodontist as well as in private practice in London and Oxford.
Luis manages orthodontic cases of children from the age of 8 who require functional appliances to improve skeletal malocclusion, as well as improving the dental arches during their mixed dentition prior to treatment with fixed braces.
For adult patients, Luis works with a variety of different fixed bracket systems including MBT brackets (conventional), Damon brackets and lingual brackets. This range of expertise allows him to be versatile and adapt to every patient’s individual needs.
In his spare time Luis enjoys playing football, going to the gym and spending time with his wife and children.
Julie started at Kendrick View in 1986 as a trainee dental nurse and went on to qualify two years later. Shortly after, Julie decided she wanted to further her career and train as a dental hygienist, qualifying at Cardiff University in 1993, and re-joined Kendrick View in 2006. Julie’s knowledge and care has generated a loyal patient following and, working closely with the dentists, she develops the highest standard of oral care, giving practical and personalised advice.
As a busy mum of three Julie doesn’t have much spare time, but when she gets a minute to herself she enjoys meeting up with family and friends.
Katy joined the practice in 2007 before leaving to start a family. Katy qualified at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCL in 2005, where she won a prestigious award for professionalism in her year. She re-joined Kendrick View in 2010 where she performs outstanding dental hygiene.
Katy has three children; she also enjoys long walks with the family dog and meeting with her friends socially.
Lucy qualified from King’s College London in 2005 and joined us at Kendrick View in 2010. She enjoys working alongside patients to help them improve their oral health and understand the importance of a preventative dental care regime.
Lucy enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, and training at the gym.
Sammie qualified from King’s College Hospital London in June 2016 with a dual diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Upon graduating, she was awarded the prize of Best Student in Adult Therapy. Sammie is passionate about motivating patients to improve their oral health and ensures the advice given suits each individual patient’s needs.
In her spare time, Sammie is kept on her toes by her daughter Delilah. She also enjoys travelling, hiking and walking her dog.
Mica achieved her NEBDN in 2010 and joined the practice as a qualified dental nurse in 2011. In 2019, she decided she would like to progress her career, after reaching the peak of her nursing career as Clinical Lead at Kendrick View. Mica began studying to become a Dental Hygienist at the University of Portsmouth, qualifying with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene in 2022.
Mica was delighted to rejoin Kendrick View as a Hygienist in 2022, as she had loved her time at the practice as a nurse.
Mica finds it very rewarding when her patients listen to her oral hygiene advice and return for their next appointment with healthier gums – it gives her a sense of great fulfilment! Mica also enjoys informing and educating patients about the importance of oral health and how periodontal disease links to other health conditions.
In her spare time, Mica enjoys attending music concerts and festivals, and loves travelling. She also loves spending time with family, especially long walks on a Sunday with her partner and dog, followed by a roast dinner she hasn’t had to cook!
Jessie joined Kendrick View in 2012 as a trainee dental nurse, qualifying in 2013, and established herself as Clinical Lead in 2019. Jessie works alongside Dr Mehdi Madani on a Monday and Tuesday and on reception the rest of the week, assisting with administrative duties. Her conscientious and caring attitude is well received by both staff and patients.
Jessie lives with her boyfriend, enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Claire started at Kendrick View in October 1994. Qualifying four years previously at Maiden Lane Dental Practice, Claire was already experienced in her field. She left in 2004 to have her first child Sophie, and Oliver came along 2 years later. Returning to work in 2010, she now works alongside Dr McDonnell. Claire also gained experience in implant surgery with specialist prosthodontist Dr Kash Ubhi, attending an Implant training course in London to support this role. Claire’s conscientious and calming nature puts our patients at ease.
In her spare time Claire enjoys spending quality time with her family, outside on walks and gardening when the weather allows. Her chief diversion is yoga which Claire has practised for many years.
Jane started her career with us in 1987 and qualified in 1992. Jane began her career doing work experience, and then nursing with Dr Maini full time. During her tenure at Kendrick View, Jane has worked alongside various dentists including Dr Henesy, Dr McDonnell, and Dr Joubert, and she has even dabbled in reception.
In her spare time, you’ll find Jane on the water; paddleboarding, and windsurfing. You might find her on her brother’s boat down on the south coast, or cruising up and down the Thames!
Tasha joined the practice in 1998 as a dental nurse and went on to qualify in 2002 just before having her first child, Kirrily. Returning for a short time, Tasha worked with former partner Dr Noel Hatton before leaving to have her second child, Archie. On her return Natasha continued to work with Dr Hatton for over 10 years before nursing for the late Dr Simon Carruthers. She also worked alongside Dr Madani, Dr Maini, periodontist Dr Omar Patel and prosthodontist Dr Kash Ubhi. Tasha now works for Dr Ritu Maini and Dr Dipesh Kothari. It’s clear to see she gained a wealth of experience along the way.
Outside of work Tasha has a keen interest in fitness, enjoying long walks and spending time with friends and family.
Jess joined us in 2018 as a trainee dental nurse and during this time had experience working alongside various dentists, including the Endodontist. Since qualifying in 2019 she has worked alongside one of our partners, Dr Kiran Bhogal, forming a professional team with their patient care at the forefront. Jess is invested in training new members of staff and is always willing to help others. Her great work ethic and bubbly, fun loving nature makes her an asset to the team.
Outside of work Jess enjoys travelling with her boyfriend, going for walks with her dog Poppy and spending time with her family and friends. She also has a keen interest in beauty, completing a course in eyelash extensions.
Martyna joined the practice in 2019 as a trainee dental nurse, and successfully passed her dental nursing examinations in 2020. She works alongside Dr Kiran Shankla, carrying out all aspects of restorative dentistry.
Martyna is a keen musician, singer, and previous stage actress – talents which have been passed onto her son, Joshua.
Megan joined the practice in 2020. Her initial role was to ensure our decontamination processes were as thorough as possible. Her love of dentistry and dedication have led her to becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse. Megan works alongside Dr Nicola Henesy Monday to Wednesday and you will find her on reception on a Friday.
Megan also enjoys working on reception when not in surgery, and holds a NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing & Beauty.
Out of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, boyfriend and her young cousin. She also enjoys painting and baking.
Ewa started with us in 2019 as a qualified dental nurse. Working alongside Ritu Maini and others at Kendrick View, you will also find Ewa working with our Oral Surgeon, Raj and Fawad our Root Canal Dentist. Working in general dentistry and alongside many of our visiting practitioners has provided Ewa with a wealth of experience.
In her spare time Ewa spends time with her son and daughter, enjoys baking, and visits her mother in Poland when possible.
Emilee is currently working towards her dental nursing qualification, and joined the team at Kendrick View in April 2022. She loves the variety of her job, and enjoys learning something new every day. Emilee also loves working alongside such a supportive and knowledgeable team.
When she’s not at work, Emilee enjoys attending aerial fitness classes and going to music concerts and festivals. She is a film enthusiast, and loves going to the cinema and collecting film memorabilia.
Maisie joined our team in October 2022 as a trainee dental nurse and has been busy training alongside our qualified dental nurses with their dentists and hygienists. Maisie is a confident, enthusiastic member of the team and we are pleased to have her onboard. In her spare time Maisie enjoys socialising with her friends and spending time with her family.
Teya joined the team in 2023 and is currently working as a trainee dental nurse. Teya has spent time working with the hygienists and alongside the dentists and their dental nurses. She is hard-working, conscientious, and enthusiastic and has a keen interest to progressing her career further to become a hygienist.
Outside of work, Teya enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family and boyfriend.
Hannah joined Kendrick View in 1993 working as a trainee dental nurse. Hannah gained her qualification in nursing in 1995 but found herself swaying towards administrative roles. Hannah has kept her hand in nursing over the years, working alongside Dr Barker and Dr McDonnell and also covering surgery when needed.
Hannah has a natural aptitude for her job and has built a trusting relationship with many of our patients, therefore making her the perfect choice as practice manager. Hannah started her new role in November 2020.
In 2007, we had the good fortune of securing Laura as a senior receptionist on our front desk. Previously, Laura graduated from Chichester University with a degree in Media Studies. She is a talented photographer and heads our marketing programme with skill, keeping our patients updated with life at Kendrick View. She is also responsible for our quarterly newsletters, keeping patients abreast of our business.
Laura likes to socialise with family and friends, but her priority is looking after her two children.
Sarah joined us on reception in 2020 but isn’t unfamiliar with some of the team as she used to work as a dental nurse with us over 20 years ago! Since then, she has worked in other practices in a variety of roles, including practice management. It’s great to have Sarah back, she is an asset on the desk and her bubbly, caring personality is noticed by patients and staff alike.
Sarah loves spending time with family. She has three grown up children and three dogs which keep her very busy, making relaxing short breaks to cottages by the sea Sarah’s favourite pastime.
Chelsie has worked with us at Kendrick View in 2013. Many of our patients may remember her as Dr Noel Hatton’s nurse. She continued to work alongside him and then his successor Dr Bhangu until an opportunity arose to work on reception. Chelsie felt it was time to try something new as she had an interest in the administration side for some time. Since August 2020 Chelsie was thrown in the deep end whilst we were organising a new working strategy during the pandemic. She dealt with the new role efficiently, quickly adapting to reception life and is a joy to have on the desk.
In her spare time Chelsie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and going on long walks with her dog Albus.
Karina joined our reception team in August 2022. Previously working in sales, Karina has gained experience dealing with the public, working in a busy, fast-paced environment which has enabled a smooth transition to work on our dental reception. Karina is calm, efficient, and caring, and we are lucky to have her working alongside us.
In her spare time, Karina enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family. When she isn’t in the gym, you’ll find Karina exploring new idyllic spots to walk with her dog, Boni.
Angela joined Kendrick View in 2002. As the practice has expanded and developed, she has taken on more responsibility and now works almost full time. Angela is responsible for all financial aspects of Kendrick View. Although patients rarely get to meet her, as her role is away from the public, she nonetheless plays a vital role in the success of Kendrick View and its team.
Socially, Angela enjoys the Mod scene and frequently attends scooter rallies, concerts, and festivals.
