Post Treatment Problems Continued

In the first few days:
- Do take your normal pain killer; this should work well to relieve toothache. Repeat as necessary without exceeding the maximum recommended dose. Ibuprofen and paracetamol can be used in combination.
- Do keep the area clean by brushing gently with toothpaste and lukewarm water.
- Avoid very hot, cold, sweet or acidic food or drink.
- Avoid biting hard or chewy foods in that area.
- Avoid putting aspirin or any other medicaments directly on or by your tooth, as these will often burn your gum.
