There are many mouthwash products on the market. Some do little more than leave the mouth feeling fresher. Others contain active ingredients, which may help to combat gum disease, decay or bad breath – but only as part of a treatment. No mouthwash is a magic cure on its own. For more advice ask your dentist or hygienist.
