Sulphur-producing bacteria in the mouth cause bad breath. They may be present in and around the gums, under leaking fillings and crowns or in decay cavities. The most common site to find these bugs though is on the top of the tongue, often near the back.

A furry tongue can harbour millions of bacteria and you should use a tongue scrapper to keep it clean together with toothpaste and a mouthwash active against those sulphur products. We recommend Retardex Mouthwash and paste.

Our hygienists can show you how to use these products and how best to get your mouth clean and healthy again.
