We take x-rays to help us in our diagnosis and treatment planning. If you pay a fee (for the x-ray) you are actually paying for our skill and knowledge in interpreting the x-ray, not for the film itself. Many of our x-rays are now actually digital, which means there is no film used, only a digital sensor.

The information from the sensor is stored in the computer. It can of course be dangerous to have too high a dose of radiation in any year so if you are moving and your new dentist would like a copy of our x-ray(s) we will be happy to supply this for a nominal cost.
