Keep biting firmly on the pad we supplied for at least 45 minutes. |

Rest a few hours, and avoid any strenuous activity. |

Don't rinse, Just spit gently if you really need to. |

Avoid hot or spicy food & drinks, chewy food, smoking and alcohol. |

Choose cool drinks and soft foods. |

If your socket starts to bleed, make a pad by folding a clean cotton handkerchief and place this on the socket. Bite firmly on this for at least 45 minutes. Repeat if necessary. |

You should expect some discomfort. Control this with your normal painkillers. |
